I think it's just because it is a very weak strain of the flu. Regular flu that goes around in the winter kills thousands.

Also, the child who died was visiting from Mexico wasn't he? I think there is something about people who live in Mexico compared to other places in the world. It just seems odd that every country seems to be fine except Mexico.

i just assumed it was the bad health care quality in mexico. but i still think the world in general is over-reacting a ton to this.

of course we are. the swine flu is NOTHING. like ben said, more people die of the common flu. and yes, the little boy was in bad condition when he was transferred to the US for treatment. fakenews is slow these days. they want people to watch fox and buy newspapers like it matters.
