I got stabbed.

So, last night I had this dream. I was being chased by this man who had these cable chain things that he used as whips. They were electrically charged and he chased me with them trying to electrocute me. I ran into a room and closed the door and quickly found a knife and a duffel bag on the floor which I used as a weapon and shield to defend myself.

So, this is where it gets intense.

I wait...

And wait...

Nothing happens, so I open the door, and wait...

Finally my adversary comes to the doorway and whips at me. I dodge. He walks away and into the room comes this man/ghost thing dressed in a derby hat, round glasses, and a Sherlock Holmes type coat, and he was very ghastly. I decide he is undead, and is going to kill me.. for he also has a knife.

Luckily, in my dream world I am an experienced knife fighter.

He swipes, I catch his swipe with my makeshift shield. I swipe at him and he dodges!! He stabs at my arm and punctures into my right bicep!!

Adrenaline rushes through my as I swing my right arm as hard as I can into a pile of stuff sitting next to my bed on a TV stand and across my room, which wakes me up and I am laying there with a super fast heartbeat and a stabbed arm when I realize it was all just a dream and I was totally fine.

If anyone looking like that man did was in my room I probably would have clobbered the guy. I have a small baseball bat near my bed in case I need to defend myself in the middle of the night from invaders. Lucky for the actual guy in my dream, for I woke up and didn't get a chance to retaliate.

I love dreams like those where you do stuff in your sleep. Once I woke up throwing punches and calling someone a mother fucker, and another time i woke up just make yipping noises, which i thought was exceptionally funny, and upon waking up i laughed for at least 5 minutes straight to the point of tears.

Brittany said it is a good thing we are not yet married and sleeping in the same bed, because she would probably have been my target upon my awakening.

I had a dream a week ago where I was dodging an explosion and ended up headbutting the wall next to my bed really hard.

Wow you guys.

I am appreciative of sleep... it's like going to the movies but you are actually in the movie you are watching.

I always have boring dreams! I've been hoping for a nightmare for quite some time now. it's all the thrill without the actual danger.

also I'm glad you didn't really get stabbed.

I really did get stabbed once.


Another story for another time.

I had a dream where I went to prison last night. I was so afraid of being raped. But then it turned out my cellmates were totally cool dudes. We just hung out all day and talked shit, drank beer and discussed tattoos.

i actually had a dream last night where it caused me to wake up with a scream, that's never happened before.

I had a dream last night that my ex Tony died and I found out about it by his obituary in the newspaper and I was freaking out cuz no one had bothered to tell me that he had died two days earlier and I was screaming and crying because I was upset and my parents didn't care and Cameron was yelling at me that I shouldn't be upset and pushing me away when I went to him for comfort and then I locked myself in my room and I was staring at the obituary for the longest time while Cameron banged on my door yelling that he was sorry and I needed to come out. Weird.

the other night I had a dream that I had a pet hamster and a pet bird, and the hamster escaped from his cage. and the night before that I had a dream I had the cuuutest pet puppy, but he peed on the floor and I was also aware that I wouldn't be allowed to keep him.

my dreams are uh, quite mellow.

Last night I slept in our spare bedroom and I'm pretty much in love with that bed now.....
