the "if it fits in an envelope" thread

basically heres how it works.
everyone who wants in post that you are in here, then PM me your mailing address.
I will PM you the mailing address of another random person, but wont tell you who it is (though you may be able to tell)
then take something that fits in a standart envelope, it can be anything, cash, condoms, cassette tapes; and mail it to them.
when you get your present post a picture of it here
when everybody has it we will reveal who our secret beneficiaries are

Just so you know, cash is something you can't send. All carriers and USPS don't allow it. Not saying you shouldn't, just saying it's against the rules, since it's a big liability.

wrap it in paper or something so it looks like a letter.

p.s. does a hand-written letter count as a gift? because i'm on a bit of a pen-pal kick at the moment and loving it.

I figured they had ways of seeing through paper, haha. maybe I overestimate our post office.

They don't really scan them, so if you hide it well you could get away with it. If anyone in between you and the person you sent it to took money out of it they wouldn't be able to do anything about it though.
