recruitment

alright mates, we've been holding down these boards for years now and it appears to me that activity is at an all time low, so how about we all find three or four intelligent and/or clever people who like to do messageboards and try to get them involved. We've definitely got a community here that has been something worth maintaining to most of us so why don't we try and expand it a little bit? hell if you talk to old members, try to get them back.

I don't want any of my friends to post here. But if I meet anyone new that I wouldn't mind posting on here I'll let 'em know about it.

I've tried to get people to join, but nobody ever really does. I wouldn't want a lot of people I know in real life posting on here, I like to keep a line between my internet life and real life.. I like to think it helps me think of you guys as fantastical beings of sort.

I'll talk to some people. And I'll see if I can get some old guys to post again.

Jason (boyfriend) signed up, but he's only posted in the music section so far, and I have a feeling thats where he'll stay, haha. I told him he should make an introduction thread.

and damn...i should have my old bud andrew join us. he used to be a riot on our old site. doubt he'd join tho. he's this brash guy from wales.

I can't think of anybody I would want to invite either. we should just advertise on other boards maybe? via signatures and whatnot.

yeah, this community is kind of a private haven side of my life i prefer to keep my real life out of, that being said i can come up with one or two to invite, but i understand not wanting to.
