random occurance of the day- my grandpa emailed me this, and I nearly died reading the first two sentences. so random.

"My computer guru grandson. I want to know if Frank Sinatra's first wife is dead. Her name is Nancy Barbato Sinatra. She never remarried, unlike Frank Sinatra, her husband, who married a few times. I think they were married around 1940 in NYC or NJ. Thanks in advance. Grandpa"

Haha, nope. We are the sober ones. I have a feeling that by the time this weekend is over, the percentage will rise to about 90%, including all the people who come in to partake in the St. Pat's festivities from other universities. Also, even if they were arrested, they would still be drunk =P

I can't wait for St. Patty's day. What school do you go to?

I find psychology magnificent and horrifying at the same time. how can such a beautifully complex mechanism have such offensively trite yet completely sensible biological and evolutionary explanations?

Psychology is interesting, although I have to say, the main branch I am interested in is the criminal portion.

I feel this way a lot as well.

I guess I don't see how asking them out would help at all. and so that I don't just sound like a negative nancy, let me explain that they're not here for me to ask out. we couldn't really date even if we wanted to, so it's better to try and let it go until there's maybe a more realistic opportunity. in the meantime, it fucking blows.


I also don't understand how much you're supposed to pour into something before you start getting anything in return.

This is odd. I have my own room in a place where almost no one knows me, I can do whatever I want, and I have a ridiculous feeling of independence. And I'm lovin' it.
