I'm a follower of Christ plain and simple. My views don't always coincide with the views of the church and my views also don't always coincide with the views of more "liberalistic Christians". Examples: I support the legalization of abortion, I believe that tithing is an Old Testament law and no longer applies to us, I don't believe in a Pre-Tribulation Second Coming, etc.

Quote :
brief overview of your political views?
Well, I consider myself to be a moderate. Sometimes my views can be conservative, and sometimes they lean to the left. It gets complicated sometimes. Haha.

Quote :
how's life goin'?
It's actually going pretty good right now. Smile

Quote :

Honestly, I like cats better but I do like dogs as well.

Quote :
do you like ducks?
I think they're cool.

Quote :
have you ever eaten duck? =(
Nope

Quote :
favorite number?
2112 (Rush fans will get this one)

Quote :
what was your favorite movie when you were a kid?
The Brave Little Toaster. It's still to this day one of the few Disney movies I enjoy.

Well, the celebrity mainly because I could never be stranded with anyone that I strongly dislike. Although I guess it's equally possible that I would end up disliking the celebrity.

Quote :
of all the members of the board, who are you closest to and why?
To be honest, I'm not close to anyone on here. I'm not from the CP or the original THB so I haven't really gotten to know many of the folks here.

Quote :
what is your favorite poem?
Edgar Allen Poe - "The Raven"

Yea I know this probably isn't the best response, but I'm not all that into poetry.

Quote :
where would you rather be right now?
At FYE talking to my new "lady friend".

Quote :
culinary school or joining the postal service?
Postal service simply because I can't cook at all. I seriously suck and it's one thing that I will probably never be able to learn.

Quote :
favorite kind of muffin?
I don't like muffins. Yea.....I know.....

Quote :
top 10 favorite bands?
*whew* This one is tough, but I'll try and manage to see if I get this one accurately....

Between The Buried and Me
Agalloch
mewithoutYou
Isis
Extol
Showbread
Rush
Faith No More
The White Stripes
Coheed and Cambria

Quote :
what do you hope to accomplish before the year is over?
Well, there's not much left in the year, so I guess I'm just gonna say that I hope to meet new people and make as many friends as possible.

Quote :
last time you trimmed your nose hair?
I've never really had a problem with my nose hair, so never.

Quote :
favorite movie from this year?
The Dark Knight

Quote :
least favorite vegetable?
Peas

Quote :
what do you want to do for a career?
I want to work in some type of computer-related job, not sure which at the moment.

Quote :
who are your heroes?
My dad....I would have to put more thought into this.

Quote :
who are your heroines?
My great-grandmother.

Quote :
what is your heroin?
I'm not sure I understand this question.

Quote :

Well, I'm Anthony Moseley. I'm 23 and I'm from Mobile, Alabama. I graduated from high school in 2003 with a 3.0 GPA and recently went to the University of Mobile but quit because I just wasn't passing my classes and I could no longer afford it. I'm starting a Community College in the Spring though. I have one younger brother. I live at home with my widowed mother. My father passed away 10 years ago. I was recently engaged, but now I'm single although I am currently "talking" to a certain girl that I met recently. Let's see.....I'm 5'7, dark brown hair, blue eyes, around 120 lbs. I wear glasses. Anything else you wanna know? Smile

Well, as far as looks go, I don't expect much. I usually go for more "cute" looking girls rather than the "hot, sexy" ones, if that makes sense. Personality-wise, I like a girl with a good sense of humor, really friendly, someone who I could talk to whenever I need to, someone who will understand me when no one else does, also someone who i have a good deal in common with.

Quote :
how'd you get to ohlovely?
Well, I was on the newest version of THB and no one ever posted on there. Someone mentioned this forum so I decided to journey here.

Quote :
do you like a lot of Poe's work?
To be honest, I'm not familiar with a lot of his work, but I really would like to check out more of his poems.

Quote :
what are your talents?
I can play the bass guitar quite well, I'm also pretty good at Guitar Hero. Um....not much I can think of.

Quote :
favorite quote?
Too many to choose one specifically.

Quote :
do you want kids?
it would be nice.

Quote :
if no, awesome. if yes, what would you do if your wife didn't want kids?
i would stick with her. kids are not a necessity for me. they would be nice, but i wouldn't freak if my future-wife didn't want them.

Quote :
I don't know, what "gets you high"?
Music definitely. I could sit and listen to music all day long. It's what keeps me sane.

hahah, I mentioned it! but how did you get to that hippieboard then?
Well, I was on the last THB. I learned about it from the Christianrock.net forum because a lot of the people on there kept mentioning it. So I joined last time, but it went down. When it came back up, there was hardly anyone there.

Quote :
what do you do in your spare time?
I like to listen to music, play video games, hang out with my friends when i get the chance, sometimes i just like to sit and think.

Quote :
what's this new lady friend like? what drew you to her?
Well, I met her at FYE. She was working there, and she kept coming over to me and asking me if I needed help with anything. Everytime I would always say something nice to her and she would smile. So eventually I just kinda got the guts to talk to her. She's a really great person too. She's extremely cute, has a great personality, shares some of my musical taste as well as other things we have in common. I'll post pictures if anything ever starts to happen between us.

Quote :
how well do you get along with your family?
I get along with my mom quite well although we do have our arguments. My brother is very quiet and private, so we don't get along too well because we never really talk unless we're out with our friends. I never really saw much of my father before he passed away because he worked a lot and would go out drinking alot.

Quote :
who's your most favorite person? if you really can't choose one, you can name a few.
I'd have to say 4 of them.
Jeremy - My best friend. I can tell him anything and vice-versa. He's always there for me when I need someone to talk to. He's one of the few people who can make me laugh even when I'm in a bad mood.
Jon - Another best friend. I've known him since middle school. He's kinda my "concert buddy" in that we always travel to concerts together. We've kinda gotten farther apart since he got married, but I still consider him one of my best friends.
Steven - My close friend from work. A crazy guy and we have a lot of inside jokes between us. We could sit for hours and talk about crazy and random stuff.
Vi - My "lady friend" that I've mentioned. We haven't known each other long but I already feel like we're kinda close.

Quote :
what's the craziest situation you've ever found yourself in?
Probably last week when my and my friend got lost in Pensacola thanks to Google Maps's horrible directions.

Quote :
what's the most direct way you've been hit on?
Hmmmm.....I honestly can't remember the last time I've truly been hit on....haha.

Quote :
do you consider yourself an open person?
When I'm with my friends, yes I can be. Normally I just bottle things up.
