I mean, christmas. There's a time for fasting, and then a time for feasting too. Plus, my Christmas was very satisfyingly non-consumerist. We did spend a fair bit of money on beer in my community, but mostly for the sake of guests. I also gave and received gifts that were in the price region of about 1 to 3 pounds. |
