Valentine's day!

Ok, why not? What's y'all's plans for V-day?

1. work in the morning.
2. take son and maybe his bud out to eat.
3. work 10pm overnight shift.
4. bask in the love of those who love me.

Making dinner at home is THE best thing ever, I think.

i will probably attend a party and get obscenely drunk, not so much out of malevolence for singles awareness day, but to appear as though i care.

I still can't decide what I'm gonna do. Most of my single friends are going to see My Bloody Valentine, which is dumb, and the majority of my friends aren't single anyway. Hmmm.

Working that morning, and then possibly going to see A Farewell Flight and a couple of other bands that evening. That's the plan anyways. This will be the first Valentine's Day in several years that I've been single, so it will take some getting used to again.

a few girls and i are going to breakfast at a diner and then seeing an early showing of the shopaholic movie, then i'm going shopping with my roommate, and then to secretly deliver my valentines day surprises that i'm making all the rooms of my house (lavender cupcakes) and then at night my house (i've explained this before but my school has sort of like sororities but they're called houses and everyone's in one and they're way less creepy) is getting together for cupcakes on the lower east side and an old movie. and then after that, who knows!

I haven't been single on valentine's day for years, either...

Brittany and I will have been together for 6 years that day. Doesn't feel like that long, since we had such gradual change from friends (before the day we got together), to dating, to us engaged now.

So, the plan is I will work until 4, then I pick her up and we go down to Oregon immediately after so we can meet my family near my grandparents house. It is a tradition for us to go to my grandpa's fireman's ham dinner fund raiser thing each Presidents Day weekend. So, Sunday evening Brittany and I will go to dinner together, maybe at the casino there. We'll see.

I will probably..um...I dunno what I'll do during the day. Probably shower and do homework, haha.

Then I may either: Go out to dinner with my family or Go to this "fancy party" that my friend is having. You have to dress up and everything.

I bought a V-day card for my mom, and I think I'll get her some chocolate or licorice or something as well.

I asked somebody to be my valentine but somebody claims that you're supposed to ask your valentine out on valentine's day. either I don't know the rules or it was a nice way of shooting me dowwwn.

I'm also unsure as to what being my valentine would entail. hmm.

oh yeah...one of my friend's is throwing a singles party, formal dress only (suits and dresses) and all you can drink boxed wine. Someday I will look back on things like this. Not sure what I'll do when I look back, but I will look back.

I keep keep KEEP trying to get people to explain to me what it means to be someone's valentine. I haven't gotten a real answer yet.

I thought the title alone was enough. it probably entails gift gifting though. you're my valentine so I'd buy you flowers and you'd buy me chocolate. that whole thing.

I'd just want a valentine for kicks.

Ok. Does anyone remember bleed1more4me? Well, here's the thing. His name is Tom, I dated him for a while a few years back. He lives in Pittsburgh. I was talking to him the other day and he asked if I have a date for valentine's day and I said no. He then informs me that he will be here on Friday to take me out to Applebee's (cuz he knows that's my favorite...and I haven't been there in a longggggg freakin time). I thought he was joking, but now I'm thinking he might not be. You see, this guy is insane enough to actually do it. Now I'm freaking out that he actually might be here tomorrow. He told me he'd pick me up at 6. Holy crap.

I was discussing it with my mom and little bro earlier and I was like "you don't think he's serious do you?" And my mom said, "yeah, he would do that." And Erik said, "Bekah, I wouldn't put it past him."

now you have a valentine. I guess that's what it entails!
