| Woke up. Now I'm making a pizza. Then I go to work on all of your guys' toys until 10 tonight. Then tomorrow, my sisters and mom (yep, Santa has sisters and a mom) fly in while I'm at a football game with my cousin! I have to work tomorrow morning, but that'll be okay.
It's gonna be a great day tomorrow. |

| i figured i'd be nice and take my client (82 yr old lady) for a ride after dinner to see xmas lights on the houses. damn...it was cold. we saw a few really nice houses, but overall, kinda sucked. so we get back an hour later and i turn on the weather channel, and holy shit.... i find out it's 2 freakin degrees out with a wind chill of 21! when i came home i baked butter balls, took out the garbage (including recyclables) and started dishwasher. now i'm here for a bit before i collapse. PS: twilight dreams........ sounds like a book title | |

The What.CD Torrent site, has for a limited time, provided a convenient way for our members to receive a What.CD invitation. The wildly popular private music tracker, has a varied selection of music, including nearly 300,000 torrents. The torrents are in various formats including FLAC, 320, V0 and V2 among others What.CD has been kind enough to offer an official way for those interested, and either have the requisite technical knowledge, or a willingness to learn; to acquire an invite.
There is a team of people of status, on What.CD who interview newcomers to their IRC Channel, and issue invites those who demonstrate the requisite knowledge. Subjects covered include, but are not limited to, digital audio formatting and transcoding, encoding and general torrent experience. Those who are unable to demonstrate the required general knowledge of music transcoding and music torrents, will be directed to the proper knowledge base(s) and given another chance for an invite, after a pre-determined period of time. More information can be found here: http://whatintro.webs.com/index.html

What will you need to know for the interview
The interview is in place for us to get to know you and to test your technical understanding of audio related information. This way we can judge whether you will be worth inviting, or not... We hope you are Smiley Each interviewer will usually have their own questions to ask you, but the general topics covered will be the same.
We will test your knowledge of the following
• Audio codecs and formats • Lossy / Lossless encodings • Bitrates • Transcodes (What is / isn’t acceptable, How to detect bad transcodes)
These are some of the things we want our invitees to know as it will help them ALOT on the site! But don’t be frightened away just yet if you don’t know this stuff! You can learn! The Hydrogen Audio Wiki is a great resource for the aspiring What.cd’er. It has nearly all the information you’ll need to pass the interview with flying colours. Below are some useful links that cover the topics in the interview. Take the time to read and familiarise yourself with them before your interview!
• http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=Lossy • http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=Lossless • http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=LAME • http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=CBR • http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=VBR
...and most importantly
• http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=Transcoding • http://xs.vc/eac/Spectral/spectral.html
Don’t be afraid to research elsewhere! Some questions asked will have to do with things like internet speed, collection, potential use of site, etc. So please have a speedtest.net result handy in .PNG format. Also obtain some screenshots of your ratios on other private sites , if you belong to them.

| I woke up late for work, so I got there like, 45 mintues after I was supposed to be there at (8:30am) But its okay, the new co-manager Amy was opening and she's cool.
After work I came home and slept for a bit, missing the Brad Pitt interview with Oprah.
Then my family and I went out to Hamburger Hamlet for my birthday dinner. After that we rented Tropic Thunder and bought a yummy marble cocolate cake at the store.
At home I opened my preseants and guess what, my parents gave me a NEW COMPUTER for my birthday! I had no clue at all that they were going to get me one, but I desperately need it cause my laptop is old and not going to last much longer. The CPU is used, but the flatscreen and keyboard are brand new.
Other preseants included some candles from my sister, and The Dark Knight special edition dvd.

| dude, the galleria has got to be a fucking train wreck right now.. why would you voluntarily submit yourself to that? Even Baybrook is a disaster.. there's people taking up ALL our parking spots at Texas Art and there's people parking in the grass.. like almost flowing into the street.. it's retarded.. and Baybrook isn't even that great of a mall.. | |

good lord it was insane! it took me thirty minutes just to find a parking spot. and i voluntarily submitted myself because i had to get my brother-in-law a sports item that they only sell at this one store in the mall and i hadn't had any chance to do so since being back in texas. and tomorrow i have to go to ikea and memorial city mall, both of which are going to be ridiculous. haha i hate baybrook mall, but jesus. i can imagine... sometimes there is SO MUCH traffic getting on/off 45 right there/near nasa route 1 (do you know what i'm talking about or am i just rambling?). tonight ended up being so much fun. christmas parties with wealthy, artsy people are possibly the funniest thing, and add apples to apples and half the crowd being drunk and it's like constant laughing. now i have to wrap three presents. ------- Suite à un grand nombre de réponses, ce sujet a été automatiquement divisé.
