what did you eat today or are gonna eat?

Nah, just hummus in my area.

i treated a friend and her mom to lunch for my friend's birthday. i had eggplant parmagiana and a salad and a part of a soft breadstick. oh, and some spaghetti that came w/it.

on the way home, i needed something sweet, so i got one scoop of praline ice cream and a coffee.

and franky.... a few years ago i was ALOT heavier and i lost weight by eating everything i normally did, but like 1/2 of what i usually ate. i got down to 118 lbs, which is waaaay too thin for me. i was starving all the time, so i gradually ate more until i got up to 135, which is a good weight. i'm at 150 now, which still isn't too bad.

shit... no one i need to impress. (now that adam's visit is over. lol)

I still eat whatever I want, too...

Since Thursday, my community house and I (five of us) have been eating dinner together, one meal for all at the same time. Between a Frenchman who hates excessively spicy food, a Ugandan, a South Korean girl, and two British people one of whom is vegan, I'd say we're doing pretty damn well so far. We had spaghetti tonight.

^Hahahaha, I know the feeling. My cooking knowledge doesn't extend far beyond japanese food, which a lot of people in my house don't dig... so communal dinners are hard.

i've been eating a bit too much this past week. it's so hard to watch my weight. damn. fall and winter are coming and it's a real struggle not to gain extra pounds. i hate this. i've gotta get back on track.

today i ate:

breakfast: toast
lunch: gooseliver on two crackers
snack: apple
dinner: hot dog/salad/some sweet potatoe
dessert: tiny piece of cake and tiny scoop ice cream
now: glass of wine

^ move to nyc and you'll lose weight without even trying. it's so much walking here!

breakfast - some apple granola bar that wasn't the best
lunch - spaghetti with meat sauce
snack - salsa and white corn chips
dinner - honey crunch oat something cereal and milk

::keeps trying to remember what I had for lunch to no avail::

GRILLED CHEESE AND TOMATO SOUP!

I dunno what we're making right now (even though I helped cook it). Something French-ish.

i did better today at eating less. spent a total of 11 hours keeping two 90 yr old women safe and happy. oh joy! but seriously, one of them did give me payment "under the table" of $60 and she wrote in a card "you are a very precious gift". awwww... way to melt a heart.

now i'm home at almost midnight and having a rum/coke and popcorn with beagle begging. NO NO MISS LUCY!!!

and i LOVE grilled cheese and
tomato soup. progresso makes a hearty
tomato soup that's almost like eating
spaghetti sauce. it's not for the faint-hearted. lol

tomorrow...yipeeeeeee!!! son and i will go out and
eat with that $60... or at least a part of it. yes!
