Hi, Gail! Very Happy

How would you describe your life in one paragraph, for the benefit of someone who didn't yet know you?

What drives you the most in your life?

How would you say you first truly became a Christian?

When did you first get into internet forums, and how did that work out?

What do you feel is the most important issue facing the world today?

What about Mario makes you the most proud?

Why DIDN'T things work out with that 30 year-old handsome rocker guy anyway? Twisted Evil

it's MY turn????

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

just kidding. don't know if i have time now.

what drives me the most? my car? duh!

30 yr old rocker guy... only wanted naked pics of me.
wasn't gonna work. actually, that's when i first got into forums.
i had alot of fun at that guys site. i did make one other friend tho
who lives in wales.

i felt i was a christian all my life because i believed in the Lord
after seeing a religious movie on tv, but when i lost the baby,
that's when i turned my life over to God.

i'm proud of my son because he's an all around good kid and i
have a wonderful relationship with him. i'm proud when i see
a sensitive side in him.

issue with the world? heck. we've got enough crap in the US.
i hate politics, but i just wish everyone could live in peace and stop
all these wars. it's awful. and i'm sure there's alot of hunger too.
people and children starving. there's too much fucked up with this
world, and it's a shame. if everyone could love each other and get
along...that would be a start.

i'll answer the first question tomorrow. don't have enough time to
think now.

back to the drives me one tho.... good question adam. i see a theme of
desiring to be of help to others. that drives me in various areas of my life.
on the computer, i ask God for difficult people i can help. at the school, i help
distraught children, i try to offer advice to friends, etc. i have a heart
for people in need. for many years it was a passion to help women who
had lost a child. i guess my love and concern for others drives me.

gonna hafta get back... i just woke up.

i can see THIS is gonna be a popular thread. hahaa. doesn't matter, it's not like anywhere here really cares about some older woman who goes on a few websites hoping to get a few laughs, help others, and make friends.

anyways.... if someone didn't know me at all, i'd describe to them all of my amazingly good qualities. lol, which could be summed up in two words: jesus christ. i try to live as the Lord would, and serve Him. i most def have oodles (lol) of love in my heart and give it freely, trying to make a difference in peoples lives. i think that describes me the best. being artistic, or loving animals doesn't matter really. it is the things i do in the name of God that will last forever.

i will add a bit more because it's how i was when i was the age of you people on here...

i grew up a normal child. always a bit shy tho. as i hit my teenage years, damn... i thought i was ugly and that no one would ever want to be friends with me. i became very introverted and shy, except for a few good friends. music was my savior. i absolutely loved rock music...back then it was called "heavy metal". i spent countless hours in my bedroom listening to it, alone.

over the next few years i met and was dumped by two guys i loved, so that caused me alot of heartache. i also came out of it not trusting guys for the most part and thinking they only wanted one thing. (if ya know what i mean)

when i came on the computer, shit... i met a few guys, and for whatever reason, all the old emotions of insecurities with guys came rushing back to me. things i thought were buried along ago. in fact, they had been buried for many years. damn..

being on the internet these past three years has been quite an experience.

hell, turning 50 is an experience too, which which it's taken me 3.5 years to get used to. i'm proud of who i am. shit.. took me a whole lifetime to get here. i am who i have always been, but better.

*** well, i can't say i can think of ANY good ones with my parents. probably my aunt (mom's sister). i'd love to hang with her in her kitchen again. then go out in the backyard in the sunshine.

where would you move to if you could live anywhere?

*** san diego or anywhere in california. but yet...canada is nice too, near niagara falls. hard to pick one place. or perhaps hawaii. actually, if i could, i'd wanna live near the people who love me the most, because a place is only "a place". it is the people who make the difference.

who do you miss the most of people you no longer talk to?

*** the fun we had

whats the latest lesson god has taught you?

*** well, duh!! God has shown me he loves me enough to answer the innermost desires of my heart.

what are you most looking forward to in life?

*** right now i'm at a standstill. i feel like my life is basically
over. long term i look forward to nothing. short term, i look forward
to seeing you mark.

*** makes me happy? would they be roasted?

what's your favorite thing about your husband?

***he pays the bills. for the past 15 yrs, there hasn't been
much i've liked about the guy. he's emotionally vacant.

what was the last book you read?

*** i read alot of good ones in the bible groups i go to.
"Searching for Significance" was a good one. i HATE reading
tho. hard to concentrate. i read snippets. hahah

how come mark's ignoring me? =(

*** he's a good person. he's not ignoring you.

what's your biggest regret?

*** probably marrying someone who didn't fit the exact
mold i wanted. i loved him, but there were always things
lacking. oh, another regret, not telling my first real boyfriend
that i loved him, for what it would have been worth.

damn..
i never told my aunt that either, and my mom had to wait
until she was dying to hear it. never told my dad, he never
told me either. just started telling my brother.

what decision are you most proud of to date?

*** alot of moms would say having a child, but, nawww.
i'm proudest of what i've done in memory of the girl i lost.
did tons of stuff in her memory and made a difference in
many lives. along with that comes writing and speaking.
i'm so proud of myself for all of that. lately tho... proud of
myself for getting on that fucking plane to cali to see my buds.
lol

can you give me some wise words of advice that you wish you'd had when you were my age?

*** nothing new, yasmin.....

----be yourself and more importantly LOVE yourself
----have confidence in yourself
----don't settle for less in a relationship
----go for what you want in life with confidence
----strive for a good self image/body image
----don't let others reflect who you are.
(you are who you are despite what others think)
---- have fun each day. laugh. live life each day.
---- last but MOST IMPORTANT...don't be afraid to tell people you love them.

oh yea, for people your age or near, i would say that you might think you are finished becoming who you are, but trust me, your not. it is our many experiences in life that make us who we are. the bad, as well as the good. it's what we learn from all our experiences that molds us into a person with wisdom and character. as i've already told a bud or two, you have the power within you to become all you can be. don't let negativity hold you back.

those are off the top of my head.

what's your favorite thing to do in your spare time?

when was the last time you got really pissed off and why?

what do you do when you need to cheer yourself up?

when you were in high school, what did you want to be when you grew up?

as you're unhappily married and all, do you still have sexual fantasies?

what's your husband's name?

why don't you get a divorce?

what's something you dreamed of doing but never got the chance to do?

what's something you dreamed of doing that you did get the chance to do?

*** inside the house would be the computer, i guess, and outside would be go to the metropark.

when was the last time you got really pissed off and why?

*** two days ago. the company called me for work and i missed the call, but i called back in 10 mins
and they had filled that job. that lady really likes me too (for that job). i was sooo mad they didn't wait longer
to give me a chance to call back. it was only 5 hrs today, in fact, but still..... i was pissed.

what do you do when you need to cheer yourself up?

*** eat chocolate, have a rum/coke, go on the internet and if a friend is on, i feel better
(especially the ones that make me laugh). sometimes i just think "happy" thoughts.

when you were in high school, what did you want to be when you grew up?

*** an artist... anything creative really (instead, i became a secretary, which was fine too)

as you're unhappily married and all, do you still have sexual fantasies?

*** of course, what normal woman wouldn't?? i do tend to keep them to a minimum tho.

what's your husband's name?

*** i deleted info because it's kinda personal. so my answer would be that it's not feasible at this point.

what's something you dreamed of doing but never got the chance to do?

*** always wanted to drive across the country to california. my aunt did that when i was a child, and
that always sounded great to me. maybe i'll take an amtrak one day...or greyhound, like adam. lol

what's something you dreamed of doing that you did get the chance to do?

*** become a mother
*** meet adam.

how about something i STILL wanna do w/my life and would be sad if i never did?

*** i wanna write a beautiful love story of a fairy
who falls madly in love with a wise owl. i've got alot
of it written, just gotta have enough confidence in
myself to perfect and finish it. i'd like it to go down
in history as one of the world's great love stories.

i'd like page after page to be filled with undying love
and passion. people would pick it up and not be able
to put it down. wow! can i pull that off? don't see
why not.

i need to follow my own advice about following one's
dreams and 'just do it'. lol

sigh, a weird computer error killed all my questions before they were posted, ill retype them later.

on another note, my mother is in the same situation you are with her marriage, it's a very hard situation especially with children involved.

awww...i'm sorry about your mom, tylersixx. sorry you lost your questions too. deleted all that marriage stuff because it's personal, and really shouldn't be on the internet.
