This is gonna be tough for me because I'm not sure how much I can ask Mark which either I don't already know about him or else he won't willingly divulge. But I'll try, I guess.

Have you always lived in California?

What was life like growing up for you until you were about, say, 13 years old?

What was it which caused your (perceived) change in religious views?

How would you summarise your political standpoints?

Nonviolence or Just War Theory? And why?

What tends to be your favourite season of the year?

What do you perceive to be the ONE THING you could do before you could peacefully depart this life without any major regrets?

Quote :

yep
Quote :

sheltered and not particularly interesting. until late elementary school i didnt really have anyone to hang out with. my mom ran a daycare out of our house so i grew up with a few people that werent my family. it was a pain in the ass going anywhere because there were 6-8 of us at any given time. doubled up seatbelts and fun stuff like that.
Quote :
What was it which caused your (perceived) change in religious views?
change is just a product of living. at any given time, what i believe is a well-considered compilation of influences and prompted thoughts. i have far more information now than i did when i was in my teens, and ill have far more information yet again a few years from now.
Quote :
How would you summarise your political standpoints?
ill quote from something ive already written:

i am spiritual, religious, political, and anti-establishmentarian. this means i oppose institutionalized religion, government, education, etc. im not a big fan of large organizations or organized belief systems either; i appreciate a communal approach to social interaction wherein uniqueness, mutual learning, and enlightened regard for humanitarian principles lead individuals to govern themselves and themselves alone.
Quote :
Nonviolence or Just War Theory? And why?
im not a pacifist, but i cannot accept just war theory because i find war to be fundamentally contrary to human freedom, especially because it is waged on behalf of a nonhuman entity.
Quote :
What tends to be your favourite season of the year?
probably winter because i like it overcast and rainy.
Quote :
What do you perceive to be the ONE THING you could do before you could peacefully depart this life without any major regrets?
try to make things work with cookies. since not everyone knows cookies, ill add that cookies is the love of my life.

How often do you masturbate?

What do you think sparked your interest in bondage?

How do you feel about pornography, both hardcore and soft?

What would be your dream career?

What would you set out to do if someone gave you enough money for you to be financially secure for the rest of your life without any strings attached?

If, for a full 24 hour period, you were granted the chance to do whatever you wanted without any fear at all of negative repercussions or consequence, what would you do?

Do you have any opinions on an afterlife?

What is your perception or view of the person of Jesus?

What is the one social issue facing the world today which you personally feel requires the most immediate attention?

If you could attend any concert by any musician or band at all, living or dead, who would it be?

as little as once a week ever since i started my new meds
Quote :
What do you think sparked your interest in bondage?
the realization that it was hot
Quote :

i think pornography is overly demonized and, in almost every way, blown completely out of proportion. there is no such valid medical condition as "porn addiction" and i dont think viewing porn causes catastrophic damage to ones person. i think there is a right and a wrong way to go about viewing porn and that its obviously not for the benefit of everyone. as for acting IN porn, i think some of the situations are a cheapening of sexuality and i dont support them.
Quote :
What would be your dream career?
i dont have any great idea about it, which is problematic
Quote :

pretty much what ive been doing....go to school, help people, live life
Quote :

fly out to see cookies
Quote :
Do you have any opinions on an afterlife?
i feel that the afterlife will be too different from our current condition to understand and that pondering it is largely devoid of truth
Quote :
What is your perception or view of the person of Jesus?
i feel that his image is more important that the person himself....in the way that the biblical jesus, regardless of historicity, has inspired some of the greatest good and some of the greatest evil this world has ever seen. i think a "relationship" with jesus means getting out what you put in.
Quote :
What is the one social issue facing the world today which you personally feel requires the most immediate attention?
the existence of extensive social barriers based on class, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. most people are actually inclined to better their own existence by bettering the existence of their group, in my opinion, and by creating one unified group, efforts are not conflicting and would universalize all good intentions.
Quote :
If you could attend any concert by any musician or band at all, living or dead, who would it be?
theres a lot of bands id love to see, but none of them stand out so much that id put them first. or wait, i think id go with suffering and the hideous thieves. very nice.

depends on who is using it. it can be william, wallaby, or shmo.

that i strive for the truth in all things. that saturates my daily thoughts and activities and determines the direction of my life.

ahoy hoy sir!

So it is that I am having difficulty thinking of questions to ask, seeing as how I talk to you often and have presently exhausted my stash of questions.

hmmmmmm

What is your favorite medium, artistically speaking, and why would you choose said medium?

How would you describe yourself philosophically? (Though I realize we've had many a conversation about this, I'd rather like to see you attempt to spell it out.) In short, what genre of philosophizer are you? (Specifically....you know me aey)

Do you see yourself traveling anywhere interesting in the near future? (Your beloved being a given and accounted for) If you had a choice to go to any country, which would you choose and why?

Do you find yourself enamored with any world culture in particular, which and why?

What is your understanding of the Faith/Science debate? How do those two come together in your world?

errrr.....tis all

id have to say literature. it has more richness and depth to me personally.....i can appreciate things like paintings or sculptures, but i do not feel them as thoroughly as the written word.

ive not yet found a collection of words to call my own, but once someone said i adhere to a radical skepticism. i see some truth in that, but i find a difference between disbelief and skepticism. i affirm the lack of perfectible knowledge, which by default means all information we have is lacking in completeness (and, in my opinion, utter truth). the purpose of knowledge is, then, not to convey truth but to enable us to live as frankly as possible despite the overwhelming nature of our insufficiencies.
Quote :

im not really big on travel...especially since i have no money. if i were to go to any country id probably go.....hmm, im pretty indifferent, or capable of enjoying most places. ireland sounds like a fine answer.
Quote :
Do you find yourself enamored with any world culture in particular, which and why?
im very fascinated by ancient cultures, like egyptian and mayan, but more recent interests, like WWII era germany, persist as well. im interested in beliefs, ways of life....the little things like how they built their buildings and what they grew for food. why? well, i just find some things, many things, intrinsically fascinating.
Quote :
What is your understanding of the Faith/Science debate? How do those two come together in your world?
both are based on assumption-guided perception, they just talk about two different areas of knowledge, if we take "faith" to mean religion. faith in the looser sense is the basis of all knowledge....faith in our perception and in the constructs we create through thought. science pertains to the interactions of the physical world with our cognition and faith/religion pertains to the interactions of the nonphysical world with our cognition.

the degree of my love and the epic nature of our situation. after years, i grew to love her more than anyone before. right now she stands out in my mind because i always drop everything to make myself available to/for her....something happens in my mind whenever shes around...it causes me to give everything i have.

my dad and two brothers have blue eyes, my mom and sister have brown eyes.

close friendships with ladies are hot. close friendships with older ladies are hot and progressive. age can make a difference in some relationships and not in others. aside from corollaries like maturity or life situation, age doesnt have much to do with anything.

did you ever get out that crazy fucking moosejacker board that you told me about?

what spurred you to coin some of the terms you use? - Moosejacker for example.

favorite drink (non and alcoholic)?

Do you have a zombie plan?

If you answered yes, I would like a detailed explanation. - If you answered no, why haven't you formed one?

what i drink the most currently is dr pepper and even though i love it im kind of sick of it. i dont really have a favorite drink or beer. of what ive tried i liked corona the best, and i havent done hard shit currently.

Do you ever worry that your relationship with Cookies has been so "hyped up" over the years in your own mind that the actual physical relationship you end up having with her might be anticlimatic?

Is this ever a worry with a relationship you develop with a girl in general over the internet?

Why do you feel you relate to gals better than guys?

If you had the chance to miraculously change one thing and only one thing about yourself (notwithstanding the potential for changes that might be made through conventional means), what would it be?
